What is optical heating?
Optical heating uses far-infrared light, which is essentially concentrated beams of safe, invisible energy, to cook food evenly from all directions. It’s what gives LUMO its smoke-free, charcoal-like results.
Is optical heating safe?
Yes. It’s the same type of harmless far-infrared light commonly used in medical and wellness devices. There are no open flames or harmful emissions, making it even safer than gas or charcoal grilling indoors.
Is LUMO easy to clean?
Absolutely! Cleanup takes less than a minute. The detachable oil pan and grill racks are dishwasher-safe, and there are no deep ridges for grease to stick.
Do I need to have grilling experience to use it?
No. Just place your food, select a mode, and let the AI system do the work. Even first-time grillers can achieve perfect results!
What makes it different from an air fryer or oven?

Yes, you can cook different foods at once. In Flat Grill Mode, you can use dual zones with independent heat control, which is perfect for grilling steak on one side and vegetables on the other. You can cook vegetables, seafood, pizza, and even braised dishes can be prepared with LUMO.

The CozyTime app lets you monitor progress, adjust settings, add DIY recipes, and share your cooking routines with friends, all from your phone.
